Staying healthy, which includes regular exercise, can be compatible with social distancing and hygiene recommendations. We will continue to closely monitor and follow the recommendations of relevant official bodies such as British Cycling and Cycling UK.
GET ON YOUR BIKE <--> ENJOY YOUR CYCLING
BUT STAY SAFE <--> STAY SEPARATE
SATURDAY RIDES: Following Government guidance, there are no Saturday Group Rides. Instead, we've collected together a number of appropriate routes that people MAY wish to use either on their own, or in the company of members of the same household . If you are not a member of the same household ( and are therefore cycling as an individual) then please try to apply minimum social distancing of FIFTY meters at all times - including banana breaks. Remember the WhatsApp group if you need to send out relevant messages during the ride - including messages asking for assistance. Be prepared to help other cyclists but strictly maintain social distancing (TWO meters ) whilst doing so. Upon returning home, you must wash your hands. It’s also advisable to wash your cycling gloves as well. Remember to avoid touching your face if your hands are not clean.

OTHER FARCYCLES ACTIVITIES: In line with Government directives in closing the schools, training up at the Cycle Park (Tuesdays and Sundays) has also been suspended. Social Events coming up, such as the Quiz Night, have been cancelled. All other events up to end April that involve proximity between individuals of less than two meters have also been cancelled. Planned Events beyond April ( see EVENTS pages) , are now all "Aspirational" . In other words - watch this space .... These include the MAY WEEKEND, the TOUR DE FARCYCLES, the ESCAPE TO THE CHATEAU, and the TWINNING 2020 TRIP.
The Cycle Park will remain open to the Public, and families are encouraged to make full use of this wonderful facility.
STAY SAFE - PLAY SAFE - MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING.
