Farcycles has a mission to increase cycling in the community, so that everyone benefits. Individuals will be fitter. Our roads will be safer, less congested and polluted. Everyone will be healthier and happier.
We are offering cycling training to all ages.
We want all children in our community to be given the opportunity to learn to ride a bike.
1. Cycle training for beginners, children and adults, using the method called Balanceability.
2. Road safety training for children and adults to cycle safely on the roads (Bikeability - which has replaced the old Cycling Proficiency).
If you are a beginner or a nervous cyclist and would like to improve, please contact us on email@example.com .

Drone photos of cycle training in August 2019
(thanks to Geo-4D)
In summer 2018, eight local cyclists trained under the auspices of Oxfordshire County Council to deliver teaching of safe cycling on the road.
Over 60 children from Years 5 and 6 of Faringdon Junior School were trained!
In autumn 2018, eleven of us trained to deliver Balanceability which is the modern way to get young children onto bikes.
We ran 2 teaching weeks for children during August 2019. Eighty children went through the training with fantastic results (see testimonials page).
From Sept - Nov 2019, there were teaching sessions for beginners every Sunday morning. 24 children took part.
And during Feb half-term week 2020, another 39 children took part with some great success in getting children pedalling independently - children who had almost given up on ever cycling.
We had just recommenced Sunday morning teaching when Coronavirus hit and we have had to suspend teaching until it was safe to re-commence.
