PIMP up YOUR PEDALS FOR
THE PINK PEDALBIKE parade!

As part of THE GLORIOUS 11TH - there will also be the

         - THE PINK PEDALBIKE PARADE  -

FIFTY lamp posts along the route through Faringdon will be FESTOONED with decorated bikes.

Each bike will proudly proclaim the name and description of the club/society responsible, and will stay in place for a minimum of FOUR weeks.

Participating in the PINK PEDALBIKE PARADE is a GREAT opportunity for all clubs/societies & organisations to shout out to the community how wonderful they are.

CALLING ALL OWNERS OF CRONKY BIKES!

Are you perhaps the owner of a suitable two-wheeled velocipede that could be PIMPED UP IN PINK?

Perhaps YOU would like to do the pink pimping yourself - on behalf of your club/society?

Or - alternatively - if you'd simply like to donate your worthy steed to the cause - then drop it off  at THE FARCYCLES BIK SHOP - Cornmarket.

And - it DOESN'T even have to be rideable.  In fact,  we will take off the pedals for you, and turn the handlebars around - so that it can fixed to a lamp post safely and securely without taking someone's eye out....

HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS NEXT (assuming you want to take part!)  :
  1. Find your pimp-up - OR pick up a pimp-up from Guy
  2. DO let us know ( using the form below - or phoning 07810-253111 - or emailing cycle@farcycles.org.uk )  that you're taking part in the Pimp-Up Pink Parade
  3. GET CREATIVE !   ( googling "decorated bike ideas"  is brilliant.... )  Remember - the theme is PINK ....
  4. Make sure that your work-of-art is clearly identified:  an A4 laminated information sheet about your club/society is best (we can help you with that if needed)
  5. Deliver your pimped-up machine BACK TO THE CYCLE SHOP ideally on or before Weds 8th June   - and DO make it clear if you want the bike back - putting your contact details safely on the back of the information sheet
  6. The Town Council will then safely fix the bikes to the lamp posts along the route - and then they will stay up as part of the PINK PEDALBIKE PARADE  for the following four weeks
  7. If you've indicated that you then want the bike returned to you,  you will contacted with the pick-up details
